the city i grew up is london so i can speak english
Spanish is compulsory subject which begins @ nursery school
my nursemaid was a french woman, we were always together during 12 years and i have been to france many times
i prefered 'Deutsche Schule London' (Londra alman lisesi) to learn my fourth language, when i came to Turkey, i started to learn Turkish
but i'm not very good at german

Is Britain successful in language teaching(I mean Spanish)
In turkey English is also compulsory but nobody learns English. We just learn grammer and useless vocabulary

and my teachers were all the natives, in turkey english teachers (not all of them but many) are mediocre

ın Turkey students start learning at the age of 10. Is it too late?The teachers arent native. They dont have any chance to improve themselves. For example any of them havent been abroad

yes, i can easily understand because in my school, we had 10 hours of spanish class per week, from the beginning of nursery school to the last year of college
our teachers were spanish, they never wrote anything on the board, we were always speaking
but of course it changes, not the same thing @ all of the schools

In turkey, teachers cant live without boards and boardmarkers. Speaking and listening are ignored. Teaching grammar and memorizing words are important, a little bit reading takes place in English lessons(((((((((Students are unwilling to learn a new language, in the same way the teachers arent eager to teach. Nowadays my only aim is to solve this English problem and then go abroad. I wanna go to England firstly but I have to also save money. I wish I was born in Britain but It is a dream.....You are lucky , wander and take pleasure for me in England:))))))))))

i finished high school in istanbul, it was a private school, but my teacher couldn't speak english

we have offically dual nationality, but ethnically my father is russian, my mum is bulgarian, i don't regret because that wasn't my decision :))
