let me introduce myself!
I am a teacher who doesn't work and stays at home. I have an 18 mounths old baby girl. She has just started to trying to talk and i teach her english. I want her to speak both languages turkish and english. we read books in english and in turkish, I wonder will she speak both of them or not.
you are right, actually two languages should not be used in the same time, I try to use them in particular times and also my brother-in-law is married to an amerikan woman and they have 3 kids who don't speak turkish at all. This is a great opportunity for my daughter, I guess she will learn naturally by playing with them ( while they are in Istanbul).its so good to teach your daughter both languages. I wanna do this, my baby is just 11,5 months old. I think that now it is so early to realize it. But maybe 1 year later, I will begin to teach her.
hi! I would love to go England. How was it like? Did it help with language?hi guys, i learn english and french at the same time. It is so hard i know, but i need to learn both :s i have an exam in french soon and i also have been in the uk for 3 months and i am going to live there next year again. so this forum is gonna be well for practice. do u know any better idea to practice english? watch movies or something like that?

good idea!i have never fisnished an english book. I try but i can not read constantly. I usually start with a book but after several pages I get bored. it's difficult. but i want to read because want to take KPDS exam. and reading helps with praghraph comprehension queastions.
