i studied tourism but i don't speak very well english and i don't find a work

didnt you learn English while you were studying at school of tourism?
whatever...so you can search an English course for speaking, listening and improving your English, cause you know, speaking and listening is more important than learning grammer; for your job, expecially. :KK34:

i graduated from anatolian high school and there was very good education of English and also i had friends which are from England, so i did so much practise with them. I see your grammer is not good enough to speak daily English even, so you are right that u must learn grammer first, ant then you can go any course for speaking and listening. but 1 year is too short to forget a language and it shows us that u didnt get a good education of English. Because, for example, i have not been speaking English for 4 years, but im watching films, listening songs in English. also i us my mobile phone in English language even! :)

this is the problem I forget very quickly a language :))) when you watch films in english understand you all?

go to english forums and find some online friends you can chat with.
I learned turkish just from talking online and teaching myself new words from the dictionary.
Im dutch and the language education is pretty good in the netherlands so I learned a lot at school. I also had a lot of english (speaking) friends from america and germany etc. so we wrote letters and emails and stuff. Also it is very usefull to watch english tv..see which shows you like and find them on the internet without any subtitles. So you'll have to try to understand it without being able to read the subtitels.

If you live in istanbul there are a lot of foreigners living there and they have these talk/ get together groups every week or so..that can be very helpfull too.

Also I would recommend you to read english books..you learn a lot while reading. Just have your dictionary next to you and when you dont understand a word you can look it up.

good luck :)

sarıpapatya: No I learned english at school from young age and I've always loved the language so I read english book..and the english shows are always dutch subtitled in the netherlands so we always hear english when we watch tv. And as I said before I had english speaking friends when I was younger from the US and germany so I talked/wrote it a lot. I just learned it while practising it. The basics I learned at school but when you start using it in real life you start learning so fast..and its a lot of fun. Im still learning ofcourse.
Since I live in turkey I have some foreign friends and other girls who live in turkey but have just facebook contact with etc. So I still use english in my daily live. Also Im a reading addict..so I read A LOT and always in english.

cute poison: Im dutch..but I live in turkey for 7 years now. My husband and turkish friends call me Gülay..:)

Girls, practice makes perfect!
That's what english teachers always say when I didn't want to talk in speaking classes. :)))
So, I figured out that we shouldn't be afraid of making mistakes.. Otherwise, we will never be able to talk. ;S
