Birde ''Then'' den önce genelde ''and'' kullanılmaz. Then: sonra anlamında zaten bir bağlayacıdır.

"and then" sıkça kullanılan bir bağlaçtır " ve sonra" anlamındadır hatta sürekli "then" kullanmak gibi bir anlatım bozukluğunu önler...o kısımda bir yanlış yok...
