Bu tense aynı Present Perfect Continuous Tense'de olduğu gibi geçmişte yaşanan ve belirli bir süreci kapsayan eylemleri anlatmak için kullanılır. Fakat bu tense'i kullanmamız için geçmişte yaşanan ve bir süre devam eden eylemin, başka bir eylemden önce yaşanmış olması gerekir.
