Hi girls.... its really nice to see you all to try learn or to improve your english... l have been in UK for 15 mounts.... When i was in Turkey I use to go Tomer English course. It has been quite difficult to understand conversation and watching telly. :bbo: l have no problem to understand now BUT my speling is awful..... To live in England doesnt help to improve your english after a point... It would be nice to have chat with you a.s.

You are very lucky. I have never been abroad. It is my dream to go abroad and see different countries. But i don't want to go other countries for a short vacation trip; i want to stay there for a while and learn about their cultures, languages and life styles. Still it was just a dream. For now i can't affort them. Actually, before i have a child i must do something to be make my dream real because i see my friends who have children and i noticed that they cannot do everything that they want to do.
Anyway, i am speaking a lot again.
What do you do in UK? Are you there for education ? I think your spelling is not awful. You're good at writing in English. If you mean your pronunciation is not well, don't worry about it, because you are in a country that english is spoken in so you can make your pronunciation better soon.

Thanks a lot Peppermint....You are not talking too much at all it was nice of you to replaying me yerimseniben It is not because of education my husband is British so l will be living here for a long time. It is a great opportunity to live in UK to practise English... l dont have many turkish aroun me and no turkish tw... It really did help big time my speaking is almost fluent.... but bleave me my english ( writing,speling, grammar) so i need to read more books, unfortunatelly l m a lazy girl... l have to forfe myself kaydirigubbakcemile As you said after having a child it would be difficulte to find time for yourself... so just do it

hey claramavi! i exactly thinking the same as papermint, about your luck yerimseniben the most efficient method for improving pronounciation is living in UK of course! let me give you an example, my cousin has been living in London for 8 years, she went there without knowing a word! in 1,5 years she became to understand even the longest and fastest sentences and in 3 years she started to speak fast and fluent. and now she has a british accent, but of course somehow you notice that she's not british, just try to speak like them,but hey its a nice thing i think. i believe you'll improve your spelling soon

Waww your husband is British. If you don't mind can you tell us how you've met your husband. Is it difficult to be married with a foreigner? You two have different culture, traditions and habits (maybe religion) Do those things cause some troubles between you? Please if you feel unconfortable because of my questions, tell me and don't feel obligation to answer them. But i am always curious about different cultures and traditions. Maybe you can tell us about your life and your days in UK.
While i was going to the English course there was an American teache there. I've never been interested in him, i was just seeing him during the lessons and some group organizations. Then he's started to like me, and offered me to date with him. I've refused his offer. But he was really insistent. Someday, he told me that he'd wanted to get married with me because he'd belived that i would be a wonderful wife and a wonderful mother etc. I just told him that i would never be with a foreigner because i was a traditional and religious (not too much ) person. (actually i didn't like him much, so i refused him and i found some excuses)
i jsut remember this memory while spekaing with you.. and i want to share with all of you. just for improving the dialogs between us.
if you're curious; now i am married with a wonderful Turkish man, love him much........

Hi Malice ... You both absolutely right. The accent doesnt bother me as long as they do understand me ofcourse i want it to be fluently... But my english soulb be faultless i worked realy hard for it...... ( Hakkini vermek lazim ama demi) gamyoncuiremsu By the way you all have great englishh

As some of you now, my level is like/ about /around pre-intermediate. I read the last page and I became happy, because I saw, that I can also understand by reading now. (By listening and speaking it's easier for me, but writing and reading much more difficult mafoldumben)
I could understand %90 I think-messages on last page- but I realized also, I can't build that sentence :1no2: The grammar looks toooooooooo hard :gitme:

I was living in Alanya... l had a friend who had a restaurant while l wisited him my future husband was sitind there the begining we become friend he always halped my english ofcourse he was in UK. We talked on msn every day ...... Sudenlly l realised l m in love with him ofcourse he was already ....so he visited me quite lots when l was in alanya :kedi: as you all see now l m here kaydirigubbakcemile l"ll write again now my husband is home

yes febi, it was really interesting and there is another thing that i've forgotten to tell you that the man was about 42 or 43 . i don't want to have prejudice but i think foreign men (not claramavi's husband) try your chance every women that they meet. but i've showed him that i wans't an easy fish. :)))

i met my husband after the course. and we decided to marry in a short period. we have been married for just four and a half month. and everything is wonderful for now. i hope forever it will be the same.

thanks a lot for your offer. ofcourse we have plenty of question and we need help too much.
it is really not easy to learn a foreign language totally. we are just at the beginning and there are still many things that we have to learn ..
i have an idea,
i hope everybody likes this idea and we start to realize it.
there it is;
I see that we all can succeed the daily speeches but we need to do someting deeper. for this we can find a different topic time by time and try to write an essay about that topic. for example; global warming or a football game that is played recently, a movie that is in vision these days, countries that we live, traffic, hobbies or any other thing that will force us to speak more.
what do you thing about it ??

I m back... where was l ? We got married the first of Nowember 2008 and it s because of my famili couldn t come we had a wedding also in Turkey. It was absoultly incredible.....we never had cultre problem ... my husband is such a great man opuyorumnanaktan Ofcourse l had a big cultre shock... kafamçokkarıştı nothing is same here..... l really miss loads Turkey, my family and friends

Do your parents love their son-in-love? We have got lots of traditional ceremony during the marriage period as you know; engagement, "kina gecesi", ... etc. Did you do all of these traditional things. Has your husband come to yor family's house to want you from your parents with flowers and chocolate or turkish-delight ?

naber, bazen bu ing. mevzusuyla ilgili başıma komik şeyler geliyor. bi kez 2 turist yol tarif etmemi istemişti. ne diyceğimi biliyorum kelimeleri felan ama cümle kurup anlatmaya gelince tısss. heycanlanıyorum. ki bugünde iş yerindeyken bi telefon geldi.adamın ne dediğini çok ii anladım. ama tık yok o an bişey diyemedim no dedim o kadar. :) not here desene. neyse şu anda ing. yazmadım kusura bakmayın.öptümmmmmm
