ASSISTANT MANAGER, FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS

Vacant Position
Mey Icki is the leading spirits and wine producer in Turkey with 10 factories and
annual revenue over one billion dollars. Its product portfolio includes well known
brands like Yeni Rakı, Tekirdağ, Mest, Kulüp, Altınbaş, Tekel Votka, Binboa, Tekel
Gin, Truva Cognac, and Kayra, Terra, Buzbağ wines. Located at Mey head office in
Şişli, İstanbul Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department is a team of seven
people and responsible for budgeting, planning, management reporting and performance
control. Two Financial Analysts report to this position who in turn reports to FP&A
Manager. Primary focus of this position is production costs and inventories.
Job Description:
- To guide and support executive management in decision making process with
financial analysis
-To prepare budget and Long Range Business plans of company
-To follow and analyze fixed /variable costs incurred in plants
-To do investment analyses (IRR, ROI, NPV etc.) and monitor capital expenditures
-To budget production costs and make actual versus budget variance analyses
-To issue periodic performance management reports.
-To provide support on financial matters at new product development process,
productivity projects and strategic modelling
-To monitor and report inventory levels
-To work with Operation and Procurement departments and factories closely during
budgeting period and provide support.
Qualification:
-University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Industrial
Engineering,
-At least 5 years experience in budgeting and financial reporting (Fast Moving
Consumer Goods sector, multinational company and product costing experience will be
an asset)
-Good command of English
-Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision working skills
-Good knowledge of MS Office.
-SAP, BW and BPS knowledge is an asset
-No military obligation for male candidates
